Start Free Trial — No Card RequiredI'm Elliott. I built Verafy at 24 — teaching myself everything from scratch, driven by something most founders never experience firsthand.
I grew up in care. Without the usual safety nets, I had to rely on people — and some of those people turned out to be exactly the type Verafy is built to expose. Directors who presented themselves as legitimate, who built enough credibility to gain trust, and who then walked away leaving destruction behind them. Companies dissolved, obligations abandoned, people left to deal with consequences that weren't theirs to carry.
That experience shaped everything about how I think about due diligence. The damage a dishonest director causes isn't just financial — it affects livelihoods, relationships, and the ability of the people they've wronged to trust anyone again. And the frustrating truth is that almost all of it is preventable. The data is public. Companies House records every appointment, every dissolution, every insolvency. The pattern is there — you just need the tools to read it.
Those tools existed — but they cost £400–800 a month and were built for law firms and Big 4 accountants. Anyone who needed the same intelligence without an enterprise contract had nowhere to go.
Verafy is what I built so that nobody has to go in blind. It runs the same checks, surfaces the same patterns, and delivers the same intelligence — in seconds, at a price that doesn't require a corporate budget.
Every feature exists because a real situation demanded it.
